Back Bord offers a three-year apprenticeship as a bakery sales assistant with a focus on organic baked goods. The training covers presentation and sales, customer advice on products and ingredients, organisation in storage, kitchen, service and sales as well as marketing and staff scheduling. Requirements are enjoyment of customer contact, a service-oriented mindset, reliability and at least a lower secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate secondary school qualification.
